The CAPF vacancies include posts in BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP and SSB.
SSC CPO 2026 Educational Qualification
For Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Sub-Inspector (GD) in CAPFs, candidates should have a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification.
For the Sub-Inspector (Fire) post in CISF, the educational qualification is different and candidates should carefully check the detailed SSC notification before applying.
For the Delhi Police Sub-Inspector post, male candidates are also required to fulfil the prescribed driving licence requirement mentioned in the notification.
SSC CPO 2026 Age Limit
For the regular Sub-Inspector posts in Delhi Police and CAPFs, the prescribed age limit is 20 to 25 years as on August 1, 2026.
For the Sub-Inspector (Fire) post in CISF, the prescribed age limit is 18 to 30 years.
Age relaxation is available to eligible reserved categories and other candidates as per government rules and the SSC notification.
SSC CPO 2026 Application Fee
The application fee is Rs. 100 for candidates to whom the fee applies.
Women candidates and eligible candidates belonging to SC, ST and Ex-Servicemen categories are exempted from payment of the application fee as per the prescribed rules.
